Macadamia nutborer (Cryptophlebia ombradelta)pheromone lures are used to attract the male borer to the sticky trap. Regular monitoring via the traps gives an early warning of a Mac borer infestation. The traps also exhibits the density of the insect population to inform successful IPM strategies.
